Our history dates more than 100 years back

In 1904, Mr. A.P. Møller established the Steamship Company Svendborg – the forerunner of today’s A.P. Moller – Maersk. Today, A.P. Moller Holding is the majority owner of the company and manages the commercial activities of the A.P. Moller Foundation in order for the Foundation to continue its distribution of donations for generations to come.
